At its November Planning Committee South Lakeland District Council resolved to grant planning permission for four dwellings on the edge of the village of Allithwaite .

The permission will be one of the first residential consents granted by the planning authority following the Inspectorate’s findings that the South Lakeland Land Allocations document is “sound”.
