Garner Planning has secured planning permission for the change of use of a large guest house in the Newlands Valley in the Lake District from a guest house to a holiday let unit.

Planning officers and members of the Development Control Committee agreed there was a generous supply of guest houses in the local area and the change of use would not adversely affect the tourist accommodation offer in the area.
