UPVC Windows acceptable in a Conservation Area
March 15th, 2013 | Posted by in NewsFollowing an appeal submitted by Garner Planning Associates, against an enforcement notice served by Wyre Borough Council, the Planning Inspector agreed that it was inappropriate to require the property owner to replace 30 upvc windows with wooden sash windows.
The Inspector concluded that:-
“The installation of uPVC window frames at the Fleetwood Arms has not adversely affected the character of the Fleetwood Conservation Area.”
